“Acceptance”. One of my acting teachers embodied the latter when I saw her accept the loss of her entire apartment, along with all her personal belongings, in a fire. She came back to teach class soon after, bright-eyed, and joking about only having 1 change of clothes. Her humility in the aftermath reminded me that one can live without physical possessions and move on with pride in oneself and their family. This piece was a gift to her. The original painting is in her new home. She loves rabbits.
