“The Isolator” helmet was an invention crafted by Hugo Gernsback (publisher & pioneer of science fiction) in 1925, and was featured on the cover of Science and Invention Magazine. The purpose of the Isolator was to help increase the concentration of the wearer, by blocking out all sound and limiting visibility to the small slits in the eyes. Hence, I imagined what it would look like if a student had to wear one in class.
